This year marks Rhythm & Motion's 40th Anniversary, and we would love to celebrate with you! YOU are Rhythm & Motion, YOU help make R&M special, and we want YOU there!
Rhythm & Motion 40th Anniversary Celebration

No RSVP required, just show up!
Join us at the ODC Dance Commons for a full day of festivities. Dance, walk through a gallery showcasing the people, places, events and memorabilia from our company’s history, eat food, play games, make new friends and more. Stay for the whole day or come and go as you wish. A highlight of the day will be the All Star Rhythm & Motion classes taught by teachers past and present, and featuring routines dating as far back as 1979. Whether you’ve danced with us for 40 years or have yet to set foot in a class, we want to celebrate with you!

Rhythm & Motion Gallery (December 29-31)
For 3 days only, learn more about Rhythm & Motion’s history by walking through a display of photos, memorabilia, words and video covering our 40-year history.
Community Altar
We invite you to be a part of creating a community altar in celebration of loved ones and community members who danced with us along the way and who are no longer with us.
Please share pictures, objects or an offering for our community altar. (No flames/candles/incense will be lit.) You may drop off altar offerings at the ODC Dance Commons front desk anytime between now and December 28, or add your offering to the table anytime between Dec. 29th- Jan 1st.
All memories and offerings will be saved and added to the Dia De Los Muertos altar at the ODC Dance Commons in October.
Get Involved
Want to celebrate at our December 29th party, meet new people and earn a few classes at the same time?
We have a few work exchange opportunities for individuals interested in working in the following areas: set-up and/or clean-up, food prep, guest welcoming, production assistance and more.
